Together with the MPC Element controller, 128 sounds in eight pad banks can be accessed. The software runs standalone or as a VST, RTAS or AU plug-in in current DAWs. MPC Essentials software included MPC Element is shipped with MPC Essentials software, a version of the MPC software specifically adapted to the controller. In addition, there is a MIDI interface on the side of the controller that provides a 5-pin MIDI input and output for connecting other MIDI hardware using the included adapter cables. Flexible MIDI control As a MIDI controller, MPC Element is also capable of controlling other MIDI software.
